Roll-Neck Knitted Vest in Fine Merino Wool
The Lyndhurst is the layer that makes everything else in the wardrobe work harder: a sleeveless roll-neck knitted vest in fine merino wool, warm across the body, free at the arms, and easy to pull over a shirt on the mornings when a jumper is too much.
Design and fabric
It is knitted in a fine gauge with a lightly brushed surface, so it feels soft against the skin rather than dense or prickly. Merino fibres are finer than standard wool, which is why a thin knit like this holds warmth without weight. The roll neck is generous and folds loosely over on itself. The armholes are cut deep and finished with a narrow rib, so a shirt sleeve passes underneath without bunching, and a ribbed band at the straight hem keeps the shape sitting where it should.
How it wears
Over a crisp shirt with the collar and cuffs showing, under a coat without adding bulk at the sleeve, or on its own with tailoring. Mushroom is the quiet grey-brown that goes with everything, Biscuit warms up denim and cream, Porcelain lifts a darker outfit, and Black is the one that travels.
Fit
Straight, relaxed fit through the body, ending at the hip. Sized M to XXL, and true to size for a layering piece: take your usual size to wear it over a shirt, or size down if you want it close. Full garment measurements for each size are in the Size guide, next to the size selector.
