Belted Coat - Faux Fur Cuffs | Wolferton

A belted coat that closes with nothing but its own tie, and finishes at each wrist in a deep band of faux fur.

The cut

There is no fastening on this coat beyond the belt. The two front panels wrap left over right and the self-fabric tie holds them, so the waist sits exactly where you put it. The shoulders are dropped and the sleeves are wide, which is what gives the coat its easy, slightly kimono line. The shawl collar rolls in one unbroken piece from the back of the neck down to the waist, and the hem stops at the top of the thigh.

The cuffs

The faux fur sits only at the wrists: two deep bands of long, dense pile, set into the sleeve on a single clean seam. The collar and the front edges stay flat brushed cloth, so the fur reads as one deliberate detail rather than a trim running everywhere.

Fit

Cut as a generous oversized wrap, so it goes over a heavy roll neck without pulling at the front. The sizes overlap: take the smaller one if you want a closer line. Full measurements are in the size guide, next to the size selector.
