Aynho is a brown maxi dress in a fine cotton rib, and there is almost nothing to it. A crew neck bound in a narrow band of the same knit. Two armholes cut away and bound the same way. A straight column from the shoulder that opens just enough through the skirt to walk in, and stops at the ankle. No buttons, no belt, no zip, no slit.

That plainness is the whole point. A sleeveless column in a knit this fine is the layer everything else goes over: on its own with a flat sandal while the weather holds, then under a cardigan, a jumper or a long coat once it turns. The shoulder is narrow and the armhole binding is flat, so nothing bunches when you put a knit on top of it.
