Cable Knit Roll Neck with a Cabled Collar and Sleeves
The Ebrington puts the cables where you actually see them. A tall roll neck folded over once and knitted in chunky rope cables, one clean cable running down the outside of each sleeve, and a body left completely smooth so the whole thing sits flat under a coat.
Design and fabric
The yarn is fine, dense and matte, with enough give to pull on and enough weight to hold its shape. The collar is the piece of knitting worth looking at: a deep band of rope cables that folds once and stays put, warm across the back of the neck without the bulk of a chunky jumper. The sleeves are raglan, so a single unbroken line runs from the neckline to the underarm and nothing sits across the shoulder. Ribbed cuffs and a deep ribbed hem finish it.
How it wears
Fawn is the quiet warm beige that goes with chocolate, denim, charcoal and grey without thinking about it. Cream is the same jumper with the volume turned down, a soft off-white that lifts a dark winter coat. Both are neat enough to wear under tailoring and easy enough for a Saturday.
Fit
This knit runs small and sits close to the body, with a hem at the high hip. If you are between sizes, or if you like a relaxed fit, take the next size up. Full garment measurements for each size are in the Size guide, next to the size selector.
