Cashmere socks fine enough to wear inside a boot and soft enough to sleep in
Knitted in a fine one-by-one rib that runs the whole length of the sock, leg and foot alike, these cashmere socks sit at the base of the calf and pull on without a gripping band at the top. Two of the four shades are left undyed, which is why Oatmeal and Mushroom look like the fleece rather than a colour chart; Biscuit and Charcoal are dyed. Cashmere is a short, fine fibre, so it is warm out of all proportion to its weight and it asks to be looked after. These are the socks that end up living at the end of the bed.
Fit
One size, sold as a single pair. The maker publishes no measurement chart for these socks, so we quote none. What we can tell you is that the rib gives a little, the top edge is a plain finished rib rather than an elastic band, and the cuff sits well above the ankle bone at the base of the calf.
