Cream jeans cut wide and worn high
These cream jeans are made from rigid cotton denim in a soft off-white, close to the colour of undyed cloth. The waistband is high, flat and plain, with belt loops, one button and a zip fly, and the front pockets are single curved openings with no rivets and no coin pocket to break the line. Every seam is picked out in a camel thread several shades darker than the denim, which is the point of the pair: on a colour this quiet, the stitching is the pattern.
The leg is genuinely wide. It falls from the hip as a broad column and holds that width all the way down to a deep turned hem, marked by two more lines of the same camel stitching. The cloth has no stretch in it, so it keeps its own shape rather than following yours, and it softens with washing instead of going slack. Wear them with a fine knit and a boot through the cold months, then with a shirt and a flat when the weather turns.
Fit
High rise, wide leg, full length. Sized XS to XL, which we map to UK 6 to 16 from the maker’s own waist and hip measurements. The denim is rigid with no give, so take the larger size if you are between two. Full measurements are in the size guide next to the size selector.
