Cropped Turtleneck Jumper with High-Low Hem
The Alderton is proof that a cropped jumper can still be a proper winter knit: a smooth, heavyweight knit cut boxy and short, with a tall ribbed roll neck and a hem that dips longer at the back. It sits exactly where high-waisted trousers begin, which is exactly the point.
Design and fabric
Knitted in a dense, smooth jersey that is genuinely viscose-rich (91 to 95 percent), it drapes softly but holds its boxy shape wash after wash. The tall ribbed roll neck brings the warmth, the deep ribbed cuffs and wide hem band bring the structure, and the dipped back hem keeps your lower back covered when you reach or sit.
How it wears
The cropped, boxy cut does its best work over anything high-waisted: wide-leg trousers, straight jeans, a leather mini or a midi skirt. No bunching at the hip, no tucking required. Blush Pink softens denim and grey, Butter Yellow lifts a dull day, and Taupe is the quiet neutral that goes with cream, chocolate and black.
Fit
