Fine-Gauge Shimmer Jumper with a Bead-Trim Collar
The Silverdale is the quiet answer to what to wear when a plain base layer feels too plain. Knitted whisper-fine in a wool-rich yarn, it carries a subtle shimmer through the fabric and a fine bead-effect trim around the collar, so it does the work of jewellery before you have reached for any.
Design and fabric
The 16-gauge knit is feather-light, with a soft handle and a gentle translucency that makes it a natural layering piece. The sparkle is spun into the yarn rather than sitting on top: a scatter of light, never a glitter coat. A contrast trim traces the crew neckline, silver-toned on Black, charcoal on Soft White and Rose Taupe.
How it wears
Cut close to the body with plenty of stretch, it skims the figure and sits neatly under blazers, cardigans and coats without adding bulk. Black takes a velvet skirt in the evening as easily as dark denim at lunch; Soft White is crisp against navy and grey; Rose Taupe is the soft heathered neutral in between.
Fit
