A cashmere cardigan that buttons right up to the collar
Fine cashmere, knitted plain. The stand collar closes with three small buttons, so it can sit up against the neck on a cold morning or fold open the rest of the time. Raglan sleeves keep the shoulder line soft. Basalt is the grey cardigan of the three, a deep charcoal that behaves like a neutral. Chamois and Acorn take the warmer end.
Design and fabric
Fine-gauge cashmere in a smooth stocking stitch, with a faint marl running through it. Nine buttons in a matte horn tone: three on the collar, six down the front. Ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem hold the shape after a long day. No pockets and no trims.
Fit
Cut with real room through the body, on a dropped raglan shoulder, so it goes over a shirt or a fine knit without pulling anywhere. It runs generous. Take your usual size for the relaxed line, or size down if you want it closer to the body. The hem sits at the hip. Full measurements are in the size guide next to the size selector.
