A high neck top knitted in a fine stretch rib, cut to sit close and layer flat under everything you put over it.
The layer you build the rest on
This is the piece that goes on first. A narrow rib runs from the standing collar down to the hem and out along both sleeves, so the top holds a clean line without adding any weight: it slips under a jumper, a blazer or a coat and stays where you put it. The collar is a low band that stands on its own at the base of the neck, high enough to close a jacket over and low enough to leave alone. The sleeves run long and finish in a deep ribbed cuff that sits over the wrist. Worn on its own with wide trousers it carries a mild week by itself.
Fit
One size, cut close, with a lot of give. The rib relaxes narrow and stretches generously, so the flat measurement reads much smaller than it wears. It fits UK 6 to 12 comfortably. Full measurements sit next to the size selector, in the size guide.
