A lace maxi skirt that is half plain, half sheer
The top is smooth woven cloth, cut to a deep point at the centre front. Everything below that point is fine floral lace, unlined, so it reads as a veil over the leg rather than as a hem. It finishes on a scalloped edge with a fine eyelash fringe, at the ankle. Wear it now with a heavy knit and boots, and keep it for the parties later.
Fit
Close over the hip, then released very gently towards the hem. The waistband is narrow and flat and the skirt does up with a concealed zip and a single hook in the side seam, so nothing sits at the front. It measures 104 to 107 cm from the top of the waistband depending on size, which lands at the ankle on most heights. The lace is genuinely sheer and there is no lining, so wear it over a slip if you would rather it were not. This is Asia sizing and the labels run small, so go by the UK column in the size guide next to the size selector.
