A shirt with room to move
Ellingham is cut oversized on purpose, from a dry, slub-textured weave that hangs away from the body instead of clinging to it. The slub is the character of it: uneven threads cross the surface in both directions, so the cloth catches the light unevenly and never reads flat.
Fit
Generously oversized, with dropped shoulders and a straight body. The hem is curved and runs longer at the back, finishing on the upper thigh, with a high split at each side seam so it sits easily over trousers. The sleeves are cut a little short and are meant to be turned back at the cuff, the way they are worn in the photographs. Take your usual size for the volume it is drawn at, or size down if you want it closer. Full measurements are in the size guide next to the size selector.
