Palazzo trousers you pull straight on. The waist is elasticated the whole way round, with no zip and no button to think about, and the leg drops from the hip in one wide unbroken sweep.
Fit
One size, and genuinely one size. The waistband measures 60 cm relaxed and stretches to 90 cm, which carries a UK 8 through to a UK 18 without gathering awkwardly at either end. The hip is cut with room to spare and the leg opening is 66 cm, wide enough that these read almost as a skirt when you walk. They run long. The inside leg is 92 cm, longer than most, so unless you are tall or wearing a heel, plan on having them shortened. Full measurements are in the size guide next to the size selector.
