A peplum blouse built entirely around the waist
Soft unpressed pleats fall from each shoulder, gather into a seam that sits at the narrowest point of the body and close there with three small covered buttons. Below that seam the fabric breaks into two frills, one hanging over the other, that flare out across the top of the hip. The neckline is a long collarless V that runs the whole way down to the waist, and the shoulders are lightly built up so the line stays clean. The cloth is a smooth matte weave with a quiet sheen, fluid enough to move and firm enough to hold the shape.
Fit
Fitted, and cut close through the body. At size S the blouse measures 92 cm around the bust and 78 cm at the waist seam, and there is no stretch in the cloth, so take the larger size if you are between two. It is short by design, 53 cm from shoulder to the lower frill at size S, which puts the waist seam at your natural waist and the frills just over the hip.
