A pleated trouser with a barrel leg
These pleated trousers take a tailored front and give it room. Two deep pleats fall from a flat waistband on each side of the centre, the leg runs full through the hip and the thigh, then curves back in towards the hem, so the volume sits high and the ankle stays clean.
The waist is the honest part. There is a proper waistband here, with belt loops, a zip fly and a buttoned tab, and a self-fabric drawstring that ties at the front on top of it. Wear it pulled in or left easy. The cloth is a smooth matte suiting with no stretch, which is what holds the pleats and keeps the leg in shape through the day.
Fit
Mid rise, barrel leg, full length. Sized S to XXXL, which we map to UK 6 to 18. The cloth has no give, so size to your hip and let the drawstring take in the waist. Full measurements are in the size guide next to the size selector.

- Smooth matte woven suiting, 80% polyester and 20% viscose
- Flat waistband with belt loops, a zip fly and a buttoned tab
- Self-fabric drawstring through two eyelets at the centre front
- Two deep pleats on each side of the front
- Two slanted side pockets, two welt pockets at the back
- Full length, plain hem with no turn-up
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, cool iron. Do not tumble dry
