Aran Cable-Knit Jumper Dress with a Polo Neck
The Lavenham is a winter dress built like a proper Aran jumper. Diamond trellis and rope cables run the full length of the body and sleeves, a deep ribbed polo neck folds over at the collar, and a short split at the hem keeps the knee-length line easy to walk in.
Design and fabric
Knitted in a soft-touch yarn with a dry, wool-look finish, the Lavenham holds its cables in high relief, so the texture reads clearly across a room and better still up close. Medium stretch lets the dress follow the body without gripping it, and ribbing at the collar, cuffs and hem keeps every edge in place.
How it wears
It finishes at the knee, so it carries knee-high boots as naturally as ankle boots and tights. Camel is the heritage choice and the warmest of the three; Black sharpens it for the office and after; Mustard is the one for grey mornings.
Fit
Cut to skim the body with medium stretch, closer than a jumper but never tight. If you are between sizes or prefer an easier line, take the larger size. The length is 90 cm in a size S, sitting at the knee. Full garment measurements for each size are in the Size guide, next to the size selector.
