A satin maxi skirt that ties at the waist
A long skirt that does the work of a dress. It sits high, ties with a soft self-fabric drawstring, then runs close over the hip and opens low into a fluid flare. The satin picks up the light down every fold, which is what turns a plain skirt into an occasion one. Wear it with a fine knit now and a shirt come spring.
Fit
Close through the hip, released into a soft A-line so the hem is the widest part. The waistband is flat and narrow with a drawstring you tie to fit, so there is no zip and no button to sit against you. The skirt measures 89 to 92 cm from the top of the waistband depending on size, which lands at the ankle on most heights. This is Asia sizing and the labels run small, so go by the UK column in the size guide next to the size selector.
