The stand collar coat, no lapel in sight
A long coat that begins with a clean band collar and leaves it at that. Nothing to fold back, nothing to belt. A single row of five tonal buttons runs from the chest to the hip, the raglan shoulders let the sleeve fall in one uninterrupted line, and the body is cut wide and easy through the hip so a jumper disappears underneath. The cloth is a matte cotton blend twill, smooth on the face and topstitched along every seam. Two large rounded patch pockets sit low on the front, deep enough to be useful rather than decorative.
Fit
Oversized and unstructured, cut to be worn over a knit. Back length runs to roughly 118 cm, so it lands at mid calf on most heights and the hem falls with the cocoon line rather than against it. Two sizes, M and L, which the maker gives as UK 10 and UK 12 to 14. The full table is in the size guide next to the size selector.
