V-Neck Cricket Jumper in Contrast-Trim Cotton
The Marlow borrows the deep V and tipped collar of an old cricket-pavilion jumper and quietens them down for every day. Knitted in breathable 100% cotton with wide, flat ribs, it is the kind of easy, put-together knit that works from the first mild days of spring to deep autumn.
Design and fabric
Pure cotton is the point here: soft, entirely itch-free and naturally breathable, it stays comfortable where wool would run warm, which makes this a rare jumper for most of the year. The 7-gauge knit falls in wide, flat ribs that give the body a clean vertical line, while the contrast ribbed collar, finished with a fine tipping, and the striped cuffs do the talking.
How it wears
Relaxed and gently boxy, with dropped shoulders and a straight hem that sits at the hip. Stone is a soft sand shade framed by an ivory collar with a subtle metallic thread; Ivory is a clean off-white with a pale grey collar and charcoal tipping. Both sit as naturally over white jeans and trainers as they do over a flannel midi skirt.
Fit
