A wool pashmina wide enough to wear as a wrap
Two metres long and seventy centimetres wide, which is the difference between a scarf you knot and a shawl you can properly wrap up in. Open over both shoulders it reaches mid thigh. Folded lengthwise it becomes a wide scarf with plenty left to loop twice.
The cloth is woven wool, milled and lightly brushed on both faces, so it reads soft and matte rather than hairy. Three hundred grams of it, and that weight is the point: it stays where you put it instead of sliding off a coat collar. Twisted tassels at both ends, long edges left clean cut with no hem.
Wool, not cashmere
Pashmina here describes the shape, not the fibre. The composition label sewn into the shawl reads 100% wool in three languages, and the maker states the same. We quote that as given rather than claim it as tested. If it is cashmere you are after, this is not it.
