A cardigan that opens from both ends
Most cardigans button. This one runs on a single zip that starts at the hem, climbs the centre front and carries on straight through the ribbed collar band. A second pull sits at the bottom, so you can open it from below and let it sit properly when you are seated. The yarn is cotton-rich and finely knitted, matte rather than fluffy, and it keeps a clean line from the first wear.
Design and fabric
Fine-gauge cotton-rich yarn in a plain stocking stitch, smooth and matte all over. The zip is an exposed metal chain set between two narrow ribbed plackets, with a pull at the top and another at the hem. Ribbed neckband, ribbed cuffs, ribbed hem. The sleeves are raglan, so nothing cuts across the shoulder. No pockets and no trims. Cordovan is the deep brown, close to dark chocolate with a red cast to it. Liquorice is a true black, Bluestone a cool dark grey, Whitewash a soft neutral white.
Fit
Short and boxy, cut with room through the body. The ribbed hem finishes at the waist, level with the top of a high-waisted trouser, and the raglan shoulder keeps the line easy over a vest or a fine knit. Take your usual size. Full measurements are in the size guide next to the size selector.
